Summer is almost over, my life has been a little crazy the past few months. I have been traveling  a lot for work and have come to know my way around Portland very well. I have been so busy with work and client deadlines that I have not had time to write in this blog.  That said, I have been active on Twitter and thought I would post my Tweets over the past month or so. Next week I will be back in NYC for some working sessions with the MRM team, it will be great to be back in the city!

Welcome to my blog

Welcome to my blog. I am really excited that I am finally making time for this blog. It has been a long time coming! My motivation for finally starting this blog was sparked by me recent birthday. Birthdays almost always make me reevaluate my life. It is a great time for reflection and goal setting. This year I have set quite a few goals… I will get into that later.

Well, being my first post and all… I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. I am a Digital Strategist/ Sr. Strategic Planner. I am currently working for MRM Worldwide-McCann Worldgroup on the Intel account. I am based out of NYC but the project that I am currently focusing on brings me home (Phoenix, AZ) for a few months. I made it just in time for the summer lol. I am a former fitness competitor and personal trainer, a Taurus, a girly girl who loves shopping, and puppy parent to the cutes dog in the world (her name is Riley).

It is kind of hard to describe yourself but here is my best here is my best shot. ..

  • Persistent (I mention this because I think persistence is one of my strongest attributes and a key ingredient to success)
  • Sensible with a ton of positive energy and brain power (I know most people think sensible is boring but I take pride in being levelheaded
  • I really like to know what I am getting into before I leap, but when I do commit I am all in!
  • If you want to impress me show me that you have staying power, loyalty, an even temper, and a big heart.

Ok, I think that is enough for now, back to the purpose of this blog. This blog will serve as a place for me to comment and share industry related news, tools, things I think are interesting, and projects I am working on. It will also include personal posts, a place for me to journal and track the progress of the many goals that I will accomplish before my next birthday.
